MY FEEDING ROUTINE

My cats are free feed (food left out all the time), Max Cat.  I use raw hamburger (recipe below), every other day, and on the opposite days I feed boiled chicken (for added protein).

For cats that are sometimes not up to par, I also have Glop out on the floor for them.  I also use Glop for nursing mother.  I have had no diarrhea from the Glop.  Gelatin help's with protein as well, and it is a good blood builder.

I don't usually feed vitamins, but if I feel a particualr cat needs more, than I give "Kitty Bloom", which is made by J.E. Ronicker Laboratories, Inc., P.O. Box 40, West Milton, Ohio 45383, phone 1-800-833-4748

I know, I know, don't feed table scraps to your cat.  But try as we may, we do share our breakfast, lunch and supper with the cats.  I have also notice the boiled chicken (with gristle) ground, leaves their coats more shiny and smooth, which is great for your showing cats.

Bone meal is a substitute I do use, it is excellent for milk production, bone growth, and showing cats.  I have used Bone Meal for years and live by it.  You can get bone meal through "REVIVAL" Animal Health.  The toll free phone number is: 1-800-786-4751.  They have a fax number:  1-712-737-5566.  They also have an email address at
revival@mtcnet.net
and also have a website at http://www.revivalanimal.com.

For traveling and showing, the day before, I give an injection of Multi B Vitamin.  The reason I do this is it aid's in the stress factor the cat under goes during this disruption of their daily routine.  I also give them a FELO-VAC shot, for diseases spread in the show halls from other cats or contaminated cages.  Upper respirtory is easely caught and I just use a preventive for the unexpected.
